About
I’m an Australian documentary filmmaker based between Serbia and Barcelona. My work is rooted in stories of underrepresented voices and human struggle. In recent years, living between these two places has led me to explore my own Serbian heritage and the fascinating stories within it.
As a self-shooting director, I’m drawn to narratives that reveal the quiet strength and resilience of everyday people. Most recently, I co-directed Water Remembers (2025), a feature-length documentary exploring the aftermath of a community living in a flood zone, following the devastating October floods in Valencia. I also co-directed ActFem (2026) with Otoxo Productions, following a group of marginalised, often undocumented, Latin American teens in Barcelona as they navigate identity, education, and belonging through theatre. In El sise cicle (2024), I explored six generations of Catalan gravediggers in a seaside village, while Matriarch (2026) traces my grandmother’s migration journey from Serbia to Australia — a film that deepened my fascination with Balkan stories of displacement, belonging, and cultural identity.
