About
I’m an Australian documentary filmmaker based between Serbia and Barcelona. My work is rooted in stories of underrepresented voices and human struggle. In recent years, living between these two places has led me to explore my own Serbian heritage and the fascinating stories within it.
As a self-shooting director, I’m drawn to narratives that reveal the quiet strength and resilience of everyday people. Most recently, I co-directed El sise cicle (Short documentary, 2024), exploring six generations of Catalan gravediggers in a seaside village. I also directed Matriarch (Short Documentary, 2026), which traces my grandmother’s migration journey from Serbia to Australia, a film that deepened my fascination with Balkan stories of displacement, belonging, and cultural identity.
Following the devastating October 2024 floods in Valencia, I co-directed Water Remembers (Feature-length documentary, 2027), exploring the aftermath of three of the hardest hit communities. I also co-directed ActFem (Feature-length documentary, 2026) with Otoxo Productions, following a group of teenagers in L’Hospitalet who are at high risk of dropping out of school due to poverty, and a theatre group helping them stay in school.
